i think bacon and stuff with ch in it has an edge. it unlocks something in our brain… bacon/chocolate, bacon/cheddar, bacon/chives, bacon/chowder, bacon with champagne (not mixed but as H’ordeuvres with champagne), bacon/chili, bacon/chips, bacon cheeseburger. not that there probably aren’t a few combinations that don’t work… but with just those off the top of my head, i might be on to something.
