I am 28 years old. I am 5’11″ tall and I weigh 165 pounds. I have had been this tall and weighed this much since I was 20 years old. For the last two years I have consumed at least a pound of bacon or sausage per week, as well as at least a pound of red meat, a gallon of full-fat milk, a dozen eggs, and at least two sticks of butter. During this time not only has my weight not changed, but every single one of my markers for heart disease (LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, blood lipids, blood pressure, etc) as not only gone unharmed, but actually improved.
Sorry wannabe rebels and contrarians at “Bad Decisions”, but it looks like gratuitous consumption of bacon is actually a good decision.
