2013 Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival

The date has been set for the 2013 Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival in Des Moines! The last time I attended this event was in 2009; I look forward to returning to this celebration of all things bacon and to show my support for the Icelandic bacon refugees.

On February 9, 2013, Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival, the World’s premier bacon festival, will provide temporary asylum for Icelandic bacon refugees fleeing their homeland in fear of the impending European bacon crisis.
