One of the sponsors at the Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour event earlier this month in Nampa, Idaho was Bakon Vodka.
In coordination with the bar staff at Brick 29, a few signature cocktails were created for the event. All of them were really great – some of them in a very unexpected way – so thought I’d share with you all!
Bakon Apple Martini (Apple Pucker, Bakon Vodka and Rum)
Luau (Bakon Vodka, Butterscotch Schnapps, Pineapple) – my personal favorite
Irish Boar (Bakon Vodka, Kahlua, Bailey’s, Hazelnut Liquer and a Splash of Cream)
Bakon Mary (Bakon Vodka, Tomato Juice, Celery Salt, Black Pepper, Tabasco, Worcestershire Sauce, Horseradish, Dash of Lemon or Lime Juice)
Bakon Vodka is currently sold in liquor stores only in Washington, Oregon and Idaho, and even there it’s hard to find because demand is so high. A better bet would be to try ordering it online through Drink Up NY, Bakon Vodka’s online distributor.
