Summer is officially over, according to Corner Bakery. Why? Because Tuesday was the last day they served their summer 2008 feature item, the BBLT (six slices of thick cut bacon and fresh, locally grown tomatoes on sourdough bread…sooooo good). Fortunately I happened to find myself having lunch at Corner Bakery on this monumental day – a higher bacon power must have drawn me there knowing I needed to eat one more of these delicious sandwiches before it went into hibernation for the winter. It sure was a tasty way to end the summer.
