Bacon Unwrapped reader Steve (who is lucky to also have the last name “Bacon”) emailed me this photo of the Bacon Bloody Mary at Comet Cafe in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I don’t drink Bloody Mary’s very often, but this tasty little snack with bacon as a garnish looks de-lic-ious. I’m also a big fan of pickles, so the addition of that is just an extra bonus. But they don’t stop there. The drink is also served with a mini Miller High Life chaser. That’s Sunday morning in a glass right there, folks. These are totally my people.
According to this article, Comet Cafe also serves bacon pancakes. And they offer their patrons free bowls of bacon after 5 pm on Sundays.
Even the restaurant’s tagline is “If it’s good, it’s better with bacon.”
Comet Cafe sounds like a little slice of bacon heaven. I might need to find a reason to be in Milwaukee sometime soon.
